On the morning of May 9, at Rubic Homes Ba Vi, the Inaugural Ceremony of the Hanoi Vu – Vo Business Association took place in a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere. The event not only marked a significant milestone in uniting and consolidating Vu – Vo businesspeople in the capital but also reflected a collective aspiration to build a strong community, contributing actively to the overall development of the clan and becoming a shared home for all Vu – Vo businesspeople.
From Business Club to Official Business Association
Opening the ceremony, Mr. Vu Duy Bong – Vice President of the Vu – Vo Clan Council of Vietnam, President of the Vu – Vo Clan Council of Hanoi – delivered an inaugural speech, recounting the journey of formation and growth of the organization. Evolving from its predecessor, the Hanoi Vu – Vo Business Club, the organization has now entered a new phase of development, equipped with a professional organizational structure and aiming to become a model for Vu – Vo business associations nationwide. On this occasion, Mr. Vu Duy Bong officially handed over the founding decision and entrusted responsibilities to the succeeding leadership board.
Accepting his appointment before the entire assembly, Mr. Vu Truong, President of the Hanoi Vu – Vo Business Association, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Clan Council leadership and outlined the future direction of the association’s operations.
During the ceremony, Mr. Vu Hong Chuong, Vice President of the Association, presented a video introducing the formation process of the association and shared insights into its operational model. A key feature of this model is the combination of a traditional business association and a trade promotion center specifically tailored to the clan’s identity. The association aims to organize networking events, trade promotion activities, entrepreneurial training, and act as a bridge for internal and external business connections.
At the ceremony, over 80 Vu – Vo businesspeople and guests participated in an exhibition showcasing more than 20 products, introducing their enterprises, and sharing investment opportunities as well as management challenges. Representatives from various businesses delivered direct presentations on their growth journeys, business models, and partnership orientations. A notable highlight was the signing of three strategic cooperation agreements between the Hanoi Vu – Vo Business Association and the following partners: The Vu – Vo Vietnam Trade Promotion Center; The Vietnam Le Clan Business Club; The Phan Clan and Associates Business Club

In his speech, Mr. Vu Ngoan Hop – Chief of Office of the Vu – Vo Clan Council of Vietnam, Director of the Vu – Vo Vietnam Trade Promotion Center – introduced the Center’s activities. He also emphasized the critical role of the Hanoi Vu – Vo Business Association as an “extended arm” in supporting its members to promote business activities effectively.

Mission, Vision, and Core Activities
The Hanoi Vu – Vo Business Association has set out three clear priority objectives:
First, to develop the Association into a shared home and a supportive network for Vu – Vo businesspeople in Hanoi.
Second, to connect Vu – Vo businesspeople not only in Hanoi but also across the country, creating opportunities for cooperation, networking, mutual learning, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members. The association strives for individual success and collective economic development, contributing to the nation’s prosperity.
Third, to become a central hub connecting members of the Vu – Vo clan in Hanoi and beyond, pooling intelligence, effort, and financial resources to support the sustainable development of the clan. With the motto “Nhân trí truyền gia” (Passing on Wisdom and Humanity through Generations) and guided by clan kinship and mutual consent, the Association aspires to be a united and progressive organization.
To realize these goals, the Association will implement a wide range of practical activities. Highlighted programs include training sessions, forums, and seminars under themes such as: “From Inner Transformation to Business Innovation”, “Together in Brotherhood – From Shared Roots to Strategic Synergy”, “Know Yourself – Know Others – Know the World”, “Leading with Strength: Body, Mind, and Spirit in Harmony”, “Financial Freedom from Smart Cash Flow Foundations”, “Go Far Together – A Collaborative Roadmap for the Clan”, “Legacy for the Next Generation – The Everlasting Flow of Prosperity”. These sessions will feature top-tier experts across various fields, sharing their insights and experiences.
In addition, the Association will build an e-commerce platform, organize trade fairs, exhibitions, roadshows, and livestream marketplaces to support product sales and market expansion. It also prioritizes business networking forums, joint venture initiatives, project investment, bidding package submission, and project investment. A special focus will be placed on promoting cross-selling, forming business alliances, and collaborating in consulting, training, M&A, startup investment funds, digital transformation, and media outreach. The Association will also coordinate activities honoring clan heritage, culture, as well as benevolent initiatives..
A Foundation of Knowledge and Sustainable Values
As part of the program, Dr. Dao Xuan Hung – Editor-in-Chief of the Vietnam Journal of Agriculture and Environment – delivered a keynote on “Crisis Communication”, a vital skill in today’s business world as the information risk landscape becomes increasingly complex. In the early afternoon, members participated in a specialized training course titled “Strategic Marketing and Communication for Businesses”, taught by MA. Vu Anh Tuan. Businesspeople gained access to practical knowledge, were able to identify their communication weaknesses, and received optimized solutions to enhance brand development and recognition.

Notably, the insightful presentation “Business Transformation in the 5.0 Era” by Dr. Vu Viet Anh – Director of the Thanh Cong Academy – unveiled a new insight on digital transformation, which are artificial intelligence (AI), and strategic management. He affirmed: “Businesses that effectively exploit AI will enjoy overwhelming competitive advantages. Leadership must have a firm grasp of legal frameworks, build brands systematically, and ensure comprehensive trademark protection.”
