Spiritual and heritage-related activities, including the restoration and construction of ancestral temples and shrines, have received significant attention. Many provinces have inaugurated ancestral houses at both provincial and branch levels. Notable projects include the Vu – Vo ancestral house in Hai Phong City, which was built with an investment of over 20 billion VND; the Vu Mien family ancestral house in Luong Tai District, Bac Ninh Province, recognized as a Provincial Historical and Cultural Site, which received an investment of over 10 billion VND; the Southern Vietnam Vu – Vo Ancestral House in Ho Chi Minh City; and ancestral houses in Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Bac Lieu, and Ca Mau. Efforts in commendation, education, and talent promotion have seen innovative and creative approaches, with proactive advisory contributions to leadership in formulating and updating regulations. A successful ceremony was held to honor outstanding students during the Mo Trach Village Traditional Festival on the 8th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Dragon (2024). In the 2022-2023 academic year, 371 outstanding students received awards totaling 252,200,000 VND, and thousands of certificates of merit were presented to local organizations.
The council’s information and communications efforts have been closely aligned with the key missions of both the national and local Vu – Vo Clan Councils, promptly covering major events and activities through various media channels and social networks. These communication efforts have served as a vital bridge, helping to shape public perception and promote the values and traditions of the Vu – Vo Clan of Vietnam. The editorial team has worked diligently to produce, edit, and distribute the “Information about Vu – Vo Clan in Vietnam” publication to welcome the Year of the Dragon (2024), receiving widespread acclaim for its rich and diverse content.
The conference also featured lively and responsible discussions, emphasizing clan solidarity. The expanded Standing Committee meeting was highly productive, yielding comprehensive results. Furthermore, the delegates discussed and agreed on preparations for the 9th National Conference of the Vu – Vo Clan of Vietnam for the 2024-2029 term, scheduled for November 2024.
