The Vu – Vo Clan Council of Lao Cai Province is a clan-based organization under the Vu – Vo Clan of Vietnam, comprising members of the Vu – Vo family currently living, studying, and working in Lao Cai Province.

Established in 2014 with over 50 member families, the council has now expanded to approximately 400 member families across the province, organized into three levels: provincial, district, and communal. At the district level, the Vu – Vo Clan Council has been established in Bac Ha, Bat Xat, Bao Thang, Bao Yen, and Lao Cai City.

Every year, on the 8th day of the first lunar month, the provincial-level council organizes a delegation to offer incense, paying tribute to their ancestors at the clan’s historical sites in Hai Duong Province. Twice a year, a delegation also offers incense at Bac Ha Temple (Bac Ha District), the sacred site dedicated to National Duke Vu Van Mat.

During the 2019 – 2024 term, the Vu – Vo clan members remained dedicated to the clan’s activities, honoring their origins, contributing financially and physically, and actively participating in clan affairs. With nearly 400 member families, each individual upholds their responsibilities, maintains moral integrity, and diligently works. Many families have been recognized as Outstanding Cultural Families for several consecutive years.

Throughout the term, more than 100 individuals and collectives from the Vu – Vo Clan in Lao Cai received commendations for academic excellence and outstanding work, bringing pride to the clan.

For the 2024 – 2029 term, the Vu – Vo Clan Council of Lao Cai Province will continue to strengthen unity among clan members, enhance communication efforts, encourage the community to preserve and promote the clan’s noble traditions, fulfill their duties to the homeland and nation, and advance educational and talent development initiatives.
